What a private
heraldic record can hold.

Approved artwork and its usage rights; blazon and symbolism; historical provenance and supporting sources; badges and variants; approval instruments; record numbers, dates and revisions.

A certificate would attest only to the private registration described in its record. It would not confer legal nobility, an entitlement from the College of Arms or the Court of the Lord Lyon, or a government grant.
